A Bathing Ape is reuniting with the legendary Brooklyn-based graffiti artist Stash on a special edition of the BAPE STA. The two originally linked up in the early 2000s on a set of tees that were packaged in spray cans, a collaboration that is still sought after by fans to this day.
The Stash BAPE STA comes dressed in the artist’s signature blue and is made of Waterproof SympaTex and PU leather, perfect for a day of spray painting or just for a rainy day. The typical BAPE STA branding on the tongues, heels, and insoles is subtly replaced with “BAPE Stash” branding, with the artist’s tag replacing the STA lettering. As an additional nod to graffiti culture, the insoles feature a paint splatter design.
The BAPE x Stash BAPE STA will be available at A Bathing Ape locations, US.BAPE.COM and BAPE.COM on Saturday, February 13th. Check out official images of the shoe down below.
