Following the BAPE x Star Wars Baby Yoda collaboration from earlier this year, the duo is back again with a collection that celebrates the 40th anniversary of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.
A BATHING APE and Lucasfilm are paying tribute to the iconic cinematic masterpiece with different tees that incorporate fan-favorites characters like Yoda and Darth Vader, while other tees reimagine classic movie posters with BAPE’s signature insignia.
Boba Fett is the real star of the collaboration, receiving his own Medicom BE@ARBRICK dressed in the eye-catching BAPE CAMO. The Boba Fett BE@RBRICK will be dropping in a 100% & 400% size set along with a 1000% version. Another vinyl figure features BABY MILO® in a Boba Fett-inspired costume with a removable helmet. A sticker pack rounds out the collaborative collection.
The BAPE x Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back 40th Anniversary collection will release Saturday, August 1st at A BATHING APE locations and BAPE.COM, with the BE@RBRICK also releasing via MEDICOM TOY’s online store and direct stores. Check out the official images below.
