Original Story (11/24/20): A Bathing Ape has been releasing special colorways of the BAPE STA throughout the year in celebration of the model’s 20th anniversary. Following collaborations with J. Cole’s Dreamville and Curren$y’s Jet Life, BAPE is now connecting with The Weeknd’s XO label to join in on the celebration.
The BAPE x XO BAPE STA is offered in black and white colorways and come with a patent leather construction and neon green accents. The XO logo and skull motif is placed on the heel, while BAPE and XO branding is found on the tongue tag and insoles. To top it off, the shoe also comes equipped with a metallic XO lace lock.
The BAPE x XO BAPE STA will be available at BAPE locations, us.bape.com, bape.com, and The Weeknd’s webstore on Saturday, November 28th. Check out both colorways below.
