Fresh on the heels of the model’s initial release, Samuel Ross’ A-COLD-WALL* and Converse are readying a black colorway of their ultra-tough Chuck Taylor All Star Lugged.
The A-C-W Converse Chuck Taylor All Star was inspired by Ross’ architectural background and experiences hiking in All-Stars as a child. The duo’s first model sold out quickly and generated considerable fanfare for its harsh design and hyper-durable rubber overlays. The new model uses a jet black rubber outsole and wrap-around midsole with A-C-W’s signature polygonal lines and co-branding atop the shoe’s ripstop nylon upper. The shoe also uses high-tech rope laces and reflective overlays for visibility even during late-night walks.
The A-COLD-WALL* x Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star Lugged releases via Converse’s website on October 8th at 10am EDT. The shoe retails for $160, and you can check out product shots of the shoe down below.
