Original Story (08/19/21): Earlier this year, BAPE and New Balance teamed up for the first time ever to release a set of 2002Rs and an apparel collection. There is now a follow-up collaboration in the works, this time under the AAPE By A Bathing Ape sublabel.
AAPE and New Balance will be releasing three colorways of the 703 trail running shoe. The shoe is offered in black, desert brown, and olive green, each with a rugged upper construction and trail-ready tooling. AAPE BY *A BATHING APE wordmark branding appears on the toe and heel tab, while the AAPE logo is found on the tongue and insoles.
