Absent has taken to Instagram to present its Spring 2021 collection, sampling graphic imagery and an experimentation of organized prints and styles.
The streetwear brand has amassed a cult following since its inception by Parker Jeppsen in 2018. The collection for this season features 25+ items and includes a denim set, t-shirts, outerwear, hoodies, a cardigan, hat, rug and wraparound ring. Absent takes pride in bold creative design, a concept that comes alive in the suggestive and straight-forward motifs.
Each piece provides its own unique look, seen in the form of monogrammed all-over print, magazine-clipped typeface, illustrated and photographed images, and more. Texture also plays a role throughout the capsule with the puffer coat equipped with a special metal “A” melded zipper, mohair cardigan, wool varsity jacket, knit polo sweater with the same custom zipper hardware, and cut and sew puff print hoodies. The devil is in the details, pun intended, with the “Radio 66.6” tee, and the offering also includes a sterling silver ring and lapel pin accompanying each hat.
