As part of the Super Bowl festivities, adidas has released a new rendition of the 4D Run 1.0 LTD in a “Big Game” colorway.
At first glance, the shoe quickly draws the eye to the 3D-printed Futurecraft midsole dripped in “Aero Green” and printed using adidas’s Digital Light Synthesis process. The latticed construction of the midsole offers support technology while lining up with the company’s recently revealed initiatives of going greener.
As for the rest of the shoe, the upper is made with Parley Ocean Plastic® intercepted from beaches and coastal communities. Clear heel and toe box overlays compliment the barely-there Three Stripe graphic. The Miami Dolphins team colors can also be found accented throughout the tongue and plastic heel piece. The insole comes equipped with an ingredients list graphic that gives you a recipe for the “Three Stripe Life” (which, in case you were wondering, consists of “sauce,” “drip,” “slime,” and a few emojis for added nutritional value).
You can buy the adidas 4D Run 1.0 LTD now on the adidas webstore for $220 USD.
