adidas Is Dropping LeBron James’ High School PEs

0

Before signing his deal with Nike, a high school LeBron James was being courted by various brands, hoping that the kid from Akron would join their roster. This included adidas, who created a variety of “SVSM” PE colorways for James. Fast forward 20 years, adidas is now dropping those “SVSM” colorways to the public.

Joining the T-Mac 2 that was revealed this past summer will be a Saint Vincent-St. Mary colorway of the T-Mac 1 and Pro Model 2G. Each come in a dark green, metallic gold, and white color scheme, the colors of LeBron James’ high school. The T-Mac 1 includes a three-leaf clover print on the insoles as a nod to the Fighting Irish, while 23, LeBron’s high school jersey number, is found on the lateral heel. The Pro Model also has “Class of 2003” embroidery on the side panel, nodding to the year James graduated high school and went straight to the league.

Check out official images of the adidas Basketball “SVSM” collection below. According to the JD Sports and Finish Line release calendars, all three pairs are slated to drop on February 17th. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for any updates.
