What to Expect from the adidas CONFIRMED App Relaunch

adidas Originals is set to relaunch their CONFIRMED app to host high-profile and exclusive sneaker releases.

Originally released in 2015 to host the drop of the YEEZY Boost 750, the app was always bound to draw the ire of sneakerheads worldwide who couldn’t get their hands on a coveted drop. Much like Nike’s SNKRS, the app used a queueing and raffling system to attempt to allow fair access to hyped releases. While CONFIRMED was discontinued in 2018 and drops were integrated into the mainline adidas app, the brand is set to relaunch CONFIRMED tomorrow.

Users can now pre-order the app on the iOS and Google Play app stores. The service’s description claims it will “[Offer] only a curated selection of exclusive collaborations and first-run sneakers.” The app is touted as a fast, fair, and secure way for consumers to get their hands on exclusive sneakers and apparel, and it’s also set to host editorial content that goes in-depth into adidas shoes both new and old. Currently, both the upcoming NOAH and Sean Wotherspoon SUPEREARTH collabs are set to launch using the new platform, though it’s extremely likely that new drops will hit the app as soon as it’s released.

adidas CONFIRMED relaunches on August 25th, 2020. You can sign up to be the first to hear new info about the app on adidas’ website.
