As reported last year, adidas is set to bring back Kobe Bryant’s signature shoes in 2022, including multiple colorways of the Kobe 1. Officially renamed the Crazy 1 after Bryant left the Three Stripes, the shoe has surfaced this year in its OG “Sunshine” and “Metallic Silver” colorways, and is now set to release soon in the OG white/black colorway.
Nicknamed “Stormtrooper” for its likeness to the fictional Star Wars soldiers, this Crazy 1 originally released in the year 2000. The 2022 re-release features the same white molded upper and black sockliner and tongue as the OGs, though they feature clear windows on the heels instead of the OG yellow. However, the yellow accents on the outsole do make their return.
