Releasing alongside the Crazy 1 “Stormtrooper” (at least overseas) is the adidas Crazy 97 EQT “All-Star,” another shoe closely associated with Kobe Bryant.

Originally called the EQT Elevation, the Crazy 97 EQT was one of the models Kobe Bryant wore his rookie season before getting his own signature shoe. The shoe is now dropping in a new silver, blue, and orange colorway, matching the color scheme of the 1997 All-Star Game held in Cleveland. Kobe did not participate in the All-Star Game that year, but he did win the Slam Dunk contest, doing so in a purple colorway of the silhouette. 25 years later, the All-Star Game festivities once again returned to Cleveland in 2022, and we are treated with a special colorway of the Crazy 97 EQT to commemorate the event.

Check out the 2022 edition of the adidas Crazy 97 EQT “All-Star” below. These launch on July 22nd via Confirmed and at select retailers such as END. (draw open now).
