adidas Adds BOOST Technology to the Forum Low

adidas is getting experimental with its Forum Low silhouette, giving the retro silhouette new life with the addition of Boost technology to create the adidas Forum Tech Boost.

First inspired for the basketball court, the Forum Low was initially built to manage hardwood. However, a fresh perspective is giving the sneaker a reimagined jetBOOST midsole that not only provides sole support, but a new look that matches the outsole. The Forum has seen a few upgrades over the years, this time around receiving an emphasized X and low rise cut. Other design elements, highlighted by adidas designer Quentin Lecarpentier on Instagram, include a monofilament outer layer, leather heel, minimally branded tongue, and embroidery stitched along the construction.

adidas is also infusing a sustainability element into the Forum Tech Boost’s construction. 20% of the upper pieces are made with at least 50% recycled content. For a final touch, it’s worth noting the shoe was completely designed from home during the pandemic.

The adidas Forum Tech Boost “Cloud White” is available now via the adidas website and select retailers, priced at $130 USD. An Xbox collaboration on this silhouette is rumored to release in the near future.
