In a surprising move, adidas Basketball is bringing back the Gil-Zero, the first signature shoe of Gilbert Arenas, in the rare UNDRCRWN collaboration colorway.
In 2007, basketball lifestyle brand UNDRCRWN teamed up with adidas on a “It Takes 5IVE” collection featuring unique twists on five signature adidas Basketball models: Tracy McGrady’s T-Mac 6, Kevin Garnett’s KG Bounce, Tim Duncan’s Stealth Climacool, Chauncey Billups’ C-Billups, and Agent Zero’s Gil-Zero. They all came dressed in vibrant colors and patterns inspired by the early ’90s and were limited to 750 pairs each. The UNDRCRWN x adidas Gil Zero is now returning fifteen years later in Restomod form, meaning updated with modern tech. This includes BOOST cushioning.
Foot Locker currently has the adidas Gil Zero listed as a January 14th release with a $140 USD retail price. Expect these to pop up on adidas.com and additional retailers in the coming days. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
