The JS Wings 3.0 releases globally October 31st, along with the adidas Originals by Jeremy Scott Fall Winter 2014 collection.

Celebrating the decade-long relationship between adidas Originals and Jeremy Scott, the latest edition of the classic Jeremy Scott for adidas Originals Wings series is a bold step forward into the future for the iconic sneaker silhouette. Now in its eleventh season, the Wings design has been given an ultramodern twist through Jeremy’s use of black patent leather and 3D crafted wings, which for the first time have been given height and structure by a molded wing segment in matte-finished black leather.

Moving on to the body of the sneaker, the Jeremy Scott Wings 3.0 boasts an advanced synthetic leather upper and a removable neoprene inner sock, that not only offers step-in comfort but also solidifies the silhouette’s bold, modern look. Finishing off the design is a Jeremy Scott signature debossed on the heel and a tonal printed trefoil on the tongue. A first for the JS Wings series, the shoe has been equipped with tooling from the Mutumbo, giving it a distinct basketball silhouette.

With its ground breaking design, the Wings silhouette cemented the on-going collaboration between Jeremy Scott and adidas Originals from its inception. By marrying the designer’s colourful, larger-than-life aesthetic with adidas Originals‘ technical expertise, the Wings sneaker has since become a symbol of the successful partnership and a favourite of brands fans worldwide. Since FW09, the collaborative sneaker has been updated every season with new colour and fabric combinations and design tweaks, and for Fall Winter 2014, Jeremy Scott has built on that firm partnership by giving the Wings design a distinct 21st century update.

  1. it actually has the Hackmore out/midsole it seems, and a CourtAttitude-ish toebox… I wish I could see the back and the tongue better, plus the socklining…
