adidas Skateboarding re-visits its sports archives for their new performance footwear — the Copa Nationale. This shoe follows the unveiling of adidas Skateboarding’s third Aloha Super colorway “Black/Purple” with Mark Gonzales.
The release of the Copa seems to follow adidas’ efforts in attempting to revolutionize their skateboarding presence. The Copa Nationale is inspired by German indoor soccer shoes with low-profile aesthetics. adidas Skateboarding’s Footwear Designer, Marcus Taylor, wanted the shoes to capture early 2000s skateboarding culture through modern minimalism.
This low-profile but kickflip-ready silhouette features premium leather and mesh with hits of Royal Blue and yellow accents. With a texturized rubber tip for grip and Cloudfoam technology for shock absorption, this shoe gives the ultimate support and comfort for skating.
The adidas Skateboarding Copa Nationale releases March 1st online on the adidas website and at select retailers for $90 USD.
