adidas’ TERREX line has never been beholden to the same lifestyle or hype concerns that the Three Stripes might have when designing silhouettes and colorways for their Originals line. TERREX is primarily about giving trail runners and hikers extremely high-performance gear to conquer harsh conditions in the city streets, deep woods, and high peaks. Performance, however, doesn’t necessarily come at the expense of style.

In the line’s new PROTOHYPE pack, TERREX showcases three of its most popular silhouettes at their most visible and in their ultimate forms. All models feature TERREX’s signature dandelion-gold color and a black patterning as well as eco-friendly uppers: the first two models utilize Parley Ocean Plastic knits while the third incorporates a low-waste dye system.

The highest-end model in the pack, the TERREX TWO Ultra, is a souped-up BOOST version of their high-performance flagship trail runner. The model includes a dazzle camo printed BOOST midsole, a rocker-shaped Continental rubber outsole, beefed-up heel support, and a wide toebox for versatile all-terrain grip.

Its shorter-distance sister model, the TERREX TWO (an acronym for Trails Without Obstacles,) comes in a similarly printed midsole with adidas Litestrike foam. Finally, the Agravic BOA eschews the Parley knits of the other two models for a lightweight, weather-resistant upper with a crank lacing system and a thin-tuned BOOST midsole for short distance comfort.

The TERREX PROTOHYPE pack is set to release sometime this month, likely via adidas’ webstore. The models are priced at $200, $170, and $160 respectively. Check out photos of the three models down below.
