adidas Tubular Doom “Grey”

With the Tubular runner and Tubular X getting snatched off shelves, we now get to see what the Three Stripes has in store next. After so many glimpses of the shoe, we finally get a clear look at the new adidas Tubular Doom.

The Tubular series is pushing forward athletic sneakers with a fashion forward aesthetic, and the Tubular Doom is the latest innovation by the three stripes. The new model from adidas boasts an interesting design. Majority of the shoe is constructed of Primeknit upper with a tubular outsole.

The lacing system is kept minimal and features a strap across the midfoot. The most obvious feature of the Doom is the sock liner, as its extends from the ankle with a pull tab. The shoe is finished with an adidas branded heel cage and an off-white sole.

The Tubular Doom will be dropping sometime in 2016. Do you feel adidas is going in the right direction with the Tubular line?
