adidas Originals has teamed up with Unity, a queer skateboarding collective out of Oakland, CA, to serve up a gender-neutral clothing and footwear collection that invites everyone to get out there and board.

The apparel side of the collection encompasses shorts, sweatshirts, a button up, a jacket, and two jerseys. Each piece of clothing makes use of custom graphic motifs that “[celebrate] the warmth we give to and take from one another,” and includes messaging that champions the ability to be yourself and celebrate your differences.

The collection also features two different low top skating sneakers: an adidas Coronado and an adidas Continental Vulc. The Coronado comes primarily dressed in textured black suede with embroidered Unity branding near the heel, a tongue badge patch featuring artwork seen on the collection’s apparel, and “Don’t be afraid of who you are!” messaging on the shoe’s interior. The Continental Vulc takes a similarly stripped-back approach, featuring a white leather upper and pastel thread detailing (as well as similar Unity branding.)

The Unity Skateboarding x adidas Originals collection is set to release Thursday, August 27th via adidas.com/unity_collection. You can preview the collection there already, but be sure to check out Unity’s Instagram page for more information (and top-notch skate footage).
