Original Story (07/29/21): In 2018, Kanye West and adidas launched the YEEZY BOOST 700 “Mauve,” a colorway that featured a mix of black, dark grey, and an earthy purple hue across its upper. A YEEZY BOOST 700 V2 in “Mauve” is now on the way, though it seems like it’ll be vastly different from the V1.

For one, the titular mauve hue is more brown this time around, dressing the entirety of the mesh uppers and midsoles. Dark grey suede is used for the mudguard and heel overlays, as well as the eye stays and toe caps. Gum soles found on the V1 make their return on this V2. Something that’s missing, however, is the neon green hits on the midsole. Overall, this colorway features a more earthy and tonal look than its predecessor.

The adidas YEEZY BOOST 700 V2 “Mauve” is expected to launch later this year, with some reports indicating a release as early as August. Catch them on adidas.com/yeezy, YEEZY SUPPLY, and select retailers. Grab a first look below and stay tuned for an exact release date.
