Original Story (10/25/21): Kanye West and adidas are delivering another new colorway of the YEEZY Slide before the end of the year, following the “Glow Green” colorway that dropped in September. Introducing the YEEZY Slide “Ochre.”
This YEEZY Slide comes in a golden yellow color, similar to but brighter than the Foam Runner of the same name. This is the first YEEZY Slide to feature a “MX” design instead of a solid color, though it is very faint (similar to the “Mineral Blue” Foam Runners). If you look closely, you can see lighter stripes in a zebra-like pattern. This is also the first YEEZY Slide to stray from the typical smooth EVA foam construction. These are created with a new mold that adds a slight texture to their surface.
The adidas YEEZY Slide “Ochre” is expected to drop this December via adidas.com/yeezy, YEEZY SUPPLY, and select retailers, alongside a restock of the “Pure” colorway. Grab a first look below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for release updates.
