With the ZX 8000 “Frozen Lemonade” dropping this week and a Simpsons “Krusty Burger” ZX 10000 on the way, the adidas A-ZX series continues with the announcement of the moccasin-inspired ZX 9000 “YCTN” (Yucatan).
The newest addition to the series features a suede upper construction with premium leather and nubuck detailing the side stripes among other elements. Contrast stitch detailing around the toe box pay homage to the ZX line, with one shoe using Z stitches and the other using X stitches. Additionally contrast stitching around the heels and a removable moccasin fringe add to the shoe’s traditional moccasin theme. Complementing cream midsoles and rubber outsoles with the heritage Torsion bar system completes the design.
The adidas ZX 9000 “YCTN” drops on February 5th via adidas.com/a-zx and in the US on the Confirmed app.
