To combat resellers, Aimé Leon Dore originally introduced its collaboration on the New Balance 1300 as a pre-order. Orders for the pink and green pairs were accepted back in August 2020 and were finally shipped in April. Additional pairs are now being released alongside a small apparel capsule.
The ALD x New Balance 1300 features a mesh base with hairy suede overlays and a nylon tongue. Available in dusty pink and botanical green, the pairs also come with a custom co-branded woven label on the tongue, a tan ENCAP midsole, and black rubber outsole. The capsule includes a “Life In the Balance” tee and cap with a botanical NB logo as well as a pair of gardening gloves.
The Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 1300 capsule will be available via Aimé Leon Dore’s New York flagship and online on May 28th at 11am ET. Check out the collection below.
