Original Story (02/11/22): Jordan Brand is bringing denim to the Air Jordan 1 High OG with this new women’s colorway.
The Air Jordan 1 “Denim” features a white leather base paired with blue denim overlays. The edges of the denim are frayed, adding a distressed aesthetic to the shoe. More denim dresses the tongue, though here with clean edges. A baby blue hue, officially called Worn Blue, is found on the tongue tag and outsole. The shoe also comes equipped with gold, hoop-shaped lace dubraes, one featuring “Jordan” branding and the other a Jumpman logo.

Update (03/16/22): Frank Cooke has shared the original concept for the WMNS Air Jordan 1 “Denim.” The shoe was originally inspired by the song “Around The Way Girl” by LL Cool J. The CAD, shown below, shows details that nod to the song’s lyrics that are not present in the final version. These are now expected to drop this September.
