Original Story (12/20/19): Today we have the first look at the new Air Jordan 1 dressed in a Black, White, and Game Royal color scheme. While we were anticipating a true “Royal Toe” color blocking, what we’re getting in actuality is a new color blocking that bears some similarities to the Fragment AJ1.
Like the Fragments, the 2020 Game Royal Air Jordan 1 feature black leather overlays on the mudguard and eyestays, a white leather side panel, a black Swoosh, white midsole, and blue outsole. The main differences are in the blue toebox and the back part of the shoe. The heel comes dressed in black instead of blue, while the ankle comes in blue with a black leather overlay. Also, the Air Jordan wings logo as well as the Nike branding on the tongue come in white.
