Jordan Brand will be celebrating the 35th anniversary of the Air Jordan 1 in 2020 with an upcoming “New Beginnings” collection. This collection includes the re-release of the Air Jordan 1 High “Chicago” in it’s 1985 glory, but will also include another Air Jordan 1 High ’85 with Varsity Red as it’s primarily color. This second Air Jordan 1 will come in “Varsity Red/Varsity Red/Summit White-Black” as opposed to the “Varsity Red/White-Black” color scheme of the “Chicago” colorway.
No images of this second colorway have leaked, but we do know is that it will feature the same build as the 1985 Air Jordan 1 High. Expect the New Beginnings Air Jordan 1 High ’85 “Varsity Red” to release in early 2020 with an elevated price point of $200 USD. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for more info on this release.
