Original Story (07/28/20): While we eagerly await this summer’s Air Jordan 1 CO.JP “Tokyo” release, we can’t help but look forward to the the next CO.JP drop, the “Midnight Navy” Air Jordan 1 High.
This colorway is one of the four that released in 2001 exclusively in Japan to commemorate the start of the new millenium. It comes equipped with a white leather base, with Midnight Navy overlays, and Metallic Silver swooshes. The most notable difference from the 2020 CO.JP releases and the original drops is that the new versions come with Nike Air on the tongue, while the 2001 colorways featured a Jumpman.
While the Neutral Grey/Metallic Silver “Tokyo” colorway drops August 7th via SNKRS, this “Midnight Navy” colorway is slated to arrive sometime this Holiday season. Grab a detailed look at this upcoming release below.
