Jordan Brand will be releasing an Air Jordan 1 that incorporates both UNC blue and Chicago red, a nod to Michael Jordan’s college days at the University of North Carolina as well as his time with the Chicago Bulls. The shoe is being released to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Jordan’s induction to the Hall of Fame and is part of Jordan Brand’s “Fearless Ones” series.
This Air Jordan 1 comes equipped with University Blue and Varsity Red patent leather overlays over a white leather base, a black Swoosh, and black tongues atop a white midsole and red outsole. To complete the shoe, the insoles are covered with a quote from Jordan’s induction speech, “Limits, like fear, are often just an illusion” and “FEAR” in bold letters with a line through it.
