In 2009, the first sample version of the Air Jordan 1 ‘Max Orange’ actually featured more of an infrared colorway. The colorway was quickly dubbed ‘infrared’ but as more photos surfaced, the true colors and materials of the ‘Max Orange’ colorway became noticed.
