Original Story (12/04/20): The white, orange, and black “Shattered Backboard” color scheme is set to make its return to the Air Jordan 1 in 2021. The color scheme is inspired by the Stefanel Euroleague uniform Jordan was wearing when he shattered a backboard during an exhibition game in Italy with the team in 1985.
Though sneakerheads were anticipating a “Black Toe” color blocking for the fourth installment of the SBB series, it appears we will be getting an all-new color blocking, with white covering most of the upper and black used for the Swoosh and parts of the overlays. The collar is expected to feature a metallic orange finish. Underneath the upper, we expect a sole unit comprised of a white midsole and orange outsole.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “SBB 4.0” is expected to release in July 2021. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for first look images and release updates.
