Official Look at the 2022 Air Jordan 1 XQ

Original Story (12/7/21): It appears that Jordan Brand will be bringing back the rare Air Jordan 1 XQ (aka Xing Qi) in 2022.

These originally released in 2007 exclusively in China to celebrate the grand opening of Nike stores across the country and were limited to only 240 pairs. The style made its return in 2013, again as a China-exclusive, though this time as a High instead of a Mid and with Nike Air on the tongue instead of Jumpman branding. Leaks from overseas factories reveals that more pairs of the Air Jordan 1 XQ have been created, leading to the belief that a third drop is coming in 2022.

The design of the 2022 Air Jordan 1 XQ is more faithful to the original 2007 release, back with the Mid cut and Jumpman on the tongue, though it doesn’t come with the Jumpman on the back of the heel this time around. Once again, the shoe is dressed in a white, red, gold, and black color scheme, with various designs and materials found across the panels.

Grab a first look at the 2022 Air Jordan 1 XQ below. It’s still unclear how limited this release will be and if these will be another China-exclusive. Either way, your best bet of copping will most likely be resell sites like StockX. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
