Jordan Brand is bringing back the “Hare” colorway of the OG Air Jordan 7 for a new iteration of the Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT.
The “Hare” Air Jordan 7 released in 1992 as a commemoration of the link-up between of Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny. The accompanying commercial for the shoe served as the foundation for the iconic film Space Jam that released four years later.
The legacy of “Hare Jordan” continued over the years with re-releases of the Air Jordan 7 “Hare” in 2008 and 2015, as well as other styles such as 2020’s Air Jordan 7 “Hare 2.0” and Air Jordan 6 “Hare.” Next up is the Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT “Hare,” which features a grey suede and white leather build similar to the OG Air Jordan 7. The multi-colored pattern on the tongue is also pulled from the AJ7 and is used on the insoles as well. Other details include dark grey exposed foam on the tongue, a white midsole, and a two-toned outsole with red on the outer edge and a purple center.
