When designing a summer version of the popular Air Jordan 11, Tinker Hatfield thought to make it a Low, remove sections of the patent leather on the shoe’s upper, and replace them with mesh instead. This “IE” version is lighter, flexible, and more breathable than the standard Air Jordan 11 Low.
The Air Jordan 11 Low IE is now getting the “Black Cement” treatment, a fan-favorite colorway that originated on the Air Jordan 3. This “IE” features black leather and mesh paneling, Cement Grey elephant-print overlays, and hits of red on the sockliner, insole, and Jumpman branding on the tongue.
The Air Jordan 11 Low IE “Black Cement” is slated to arrive on July 9th via select retailers and Nike.com for a retail price of $170 USD. Check out official images of the shoe below.
