Jordan Brand continues their part in the OHSU Doernbecher foundation and this year, the Air Jordan 12 Doernbecher is up to the plate which was designed by Carissa Navarro. The colorway takes cues from her stuffed dog Max which can be seen on the outsole, a photo of her family on the inside and a unique Pizza lacelock. The sneaker is overall black and pink, with many other details that come from Carissa’s inspiration. Her twin sister’s name, Savannah, is on the heel tab of the left shoe (Navarro was born without kidneys and her sister kept her alive in the womb until she could begin dialysis). “She’s the best sister ever!” she says.
The Air Jordan 12 Doernbecher will release on November 18th, 2017 at Jordan Brand OHSU DB retailers across the globe for $220.
