Jordan Brand will be dropping the Air Jordan 14 “Laney” as part of its Spring/Summer 2023 Retro lineup.
Much like how the “Ginger” Air Jordan 14 Low returned this year as a Mid, the “Laney” colorway of the AJ14 Low will also be returning as a standard Air Jordan 14. This colorway originally released in 1999 and was retroed in 2015.
The Air Jordan 14 “Laney” comes dressed in a blue and yellow color scheme that pays tribute to Emsley A. Laney High School in Wilmington, North Carolina, where Michael Jordan was a student from 1977 to 1981 before his three-year stint at UNC. Uppers feature a Varsity Royal nubuck construction, while black and Varsity Maize accents appear throughout.
The release of the Air Jordan 14 “Laney” is currently expected to go down on May 27, 2023, dropping on SNKRS and at select retailers. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for first look photos and release updates.
