The Air Jordan 23 marked a full circle in the Air Jordan line. The shoe was the 23rd installment in #23’s line and was very distinctive in its looks sporting many quirks that Jordan’s never utilized up until this point. The side panel featured a hand stitched upper encompassed much of the upper, disguising the performance parts under the hood with a very unique aesthetic. Michael’s signature was embossed onto the toe-caps, and the tongues featured alternating Jumpman and “23” logos. The XX8 Days of Flight variation certainly tweaks things by ditching considered materials (recycled) and going full on leather. Another slight difference is the tongue labeling, which is laser etched and gives the slightest break from the sea of black and green.
