Original Story (02/21/22): Jordan Brand is launching a new “Desert Elephant” colorway of the Air Jordan 3 as part of its Summer 2022 lineup.
This Air Jordan 3 puts a twist on the OG “Black Cement” colorway, using the same color blocking and black leather for the majority of the upper, though various details have been tweaked. The elephant print overlays on the toe have a more natural brown elephant texture, while the tongue, eyestays, and ankle collar now come in a pinkish Fossil Rose hue. The red accents from the OGs have also been replaced with Rush Orange. Another interesting detail is found on the insoles: a graphic that features an elephant and Jumpman as part of an equation.
