During his first season with the Washington Wizards, Michael Jordan wore a PE colorway of the Air Jordan 3 that was essentially a modified version of the OG “True Blue.” That colorway will now be getting a public release as part of Jordan Brand’s Summer 2023 retro lineup.
The Air Jordan 3 “Wizards” features a white leather upper with elephant print overlays and True Blue accents on the top eyelets, sockliner, and midsole. The only thing really separating these from a “True Blue” 3 is the hits of Metallic Copper on the tongue and bottom eyelets, the places where Fire Red accents are normally found.
The Air Jordan 3 “Wizards” is slated to drop in full family sizing in Summer 2023 on SNKRS and at select retailers. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
