Air Jordan 4 “Sashiko” Official Images + Launch Info

Original Story (08/22/20): Earlier this year, there were reports of an upcoming “Deep Ocean” Air Jordan 4 SE that some expected was going to arrive in a similar style to Carmelo Anthony’s 2008 Olympic PE. What is actually releasing is much, much cooler.

This upcoming Air Jordan 4 has just been revealed and is currently being called “Sashiko” after the Japanese form of decorative stitching. This release comes with patchwork uppers dressed primarily in navy with each panel featuring a unique pattern. Some panels have hits of red, including the left shoe tongue and part of the right shoe’s toebox. Other details include mismatched liners, blue translucent heel tabs, and special-edition packaging that matches the colors and patterns on the shoe.

Some believe that this may be a collaboration with Japanese denim design label Kapital, but that is yet to be confirmed. Grab a first look at the Air Jordan 4 SE “Sashiko” below and expect a release sometime this fall. As always, stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
