Original Story (07/13/20): To continue on the celebration of the Air Jordan 5, Jordan Brand is expected to be releasing a new “What the” style of the model.
This unique shoe will feature a mash-up of previous Jordan 5 releases. The shoe will feature panels from popular releases like Tokyo, Shanghai, Raging Bull, Bel-Air, Laser, and many more. Dressed in a mismatching yellow and red color, each heel comes with a Japanese embroidery from the “Tokyo 23” and “Shanghai” colorways. The lining includes graphics from the “Bel-Air” and “Laser” Jordan 5s with reflective tongues and translucent netting as finishing details.
If these drop in 2020, this colorway will be the second AJ5 to appear in a mash-up style. The “Top 3” that dropped in June feature a mix of the OG “Fire Red,” “Black Metallic,” and “Grape” colorways. As of now, a Winter 2020 release is expected. Check out the first look images below and stay tuned Modern Notoriety for updates on its release.
