Original Story (02/23/20): The OG 1991 Air Jordan 6 “Carmine” is making its return in 2021 in celebration of the silhouette’s 30th anniversary. This will be the colorway’s first release since dropping in 2014.
Michael Jordan wore this colorway of the Air Jordan 6 when he won his first NBA Championship with the Chicago Bulls in 1991. Nicknamed after the deep red hue that covers it side panels and toe box, the “Carmine” sports a white upper with a black tongue. Like its original 1991 release, this version will sport Nike Air branding on the heel.
