Original Story (02/24/20): Along with the Air Jordan 6 “Hare”, Jordan Brand will be releasing a new Bugs Bunny-inspired colorway of the Air Jordan 7 dubbed the “Hare 2.0.”
The “Hare Jordan” story began when Michael Jordan appeared alongside Bugs Bunny in a commercial for the Air Jordan 7s during the Super Bowl in 1992. The two would later reunite in Space Jam.
This “Hare 2.0” features a grey pony hair upper, mimicking the texture of Bugs Bunny’s fur. Contrasting pink accents appear on the tongue and ankle collar. Additional details include the number ‘130014-100’ near the heel, which is the style code of the original “Hare” Jordan 7 release from 1991. The packaging features a picture of a carrot, Bugs Bunny’s favorite snack.
