Today’s Air Jordan prices are way different than what they were in the 90’s but then again, the demand was less and hype was at an all time low.
Yeah, you had the Air Jordan fans that would do anything to get a pair, but there weren’t lines as crazy as they are today, no blogs, no way to find out when something would drop other than finding out at the store etc. Then, there was the good ol’ Eastbay catalog. This multipage sneaker magazine offered up all kinds of amazing sneakers at unbelievable prices. Air Jordan 1’s for $79.99? How about Air Jordan 5’s for $119 Retail? Makes us think that the 90’s was truly the best time to cop sneakers. Check out the photos below and let us know if you scooped up a pair from Eastbay in the 90’s.
The good ole days….
Back when the hypebeasts were lying dormant
Will never see these prices ever again
Must have been soo nice
