Jordan Brand continues the 11Lab4 series with the upcoming Air Jordan 11LAB4 “Red” colorway set to release this Summer.
We’ve seen a few versions of the Lab series in recent years and this Summer, Jordan Brand highlights the Air Jordan 11 aesthetic with the Air Jordan 4 silhouette. For this upcoming Lab mix, the Air Jordan 11Lab4 features a red patent leather upper and red laces giving you Jordan Brands version of “Red October”. 1982’s North Carolina vs Georgetown game was the first college game where the world witnessed Michael Jordans signature shot over Patrick Ewing, which brings us the Air Jordan 11 Low “Georgetown”.
The Air Jordan 11 “Georgetown” will release in a Low version on April 11th, 2015. There’s a few connections between the Air Jordan 11 and Georgetown that might’ve inspired Jordan Brand to release them in a low version this Summer. First, it’s the NCAA rivalry between Michael Jordan (North Carolina) and Patrick Ewing (Georgetown). Then, there’s Allen Iverson who wore them during his college days at GT.
