The Women’s Jordan OG made history in 1998 as the first ever Jordan basketball model built exclusively for the versatility and style of the women’s game. Jordan Brand brought back the silhouette last year in a White/Black colorway, followed up by a handful of others including a collaboration with Melody Ehsani. The model is now getting a new “Coconut Milk” colorway this spring.
This Jordan OG comes dressed in a light beige tone and features a construction primarily of suede. As a nod to its basketball heritage, a dash of orange pebbled leather that mimics the look and feel of a basketball is used for its side panel overlays. Additional overlays dressed in hairy suede feature AJ13-like indentations, a slight contrast to the smooth suede used for the base. Additional features include thick black trimming around each of the overlays, matching black Jumpman and “W” logos on the heels, and a white midsole with orange outsole.
The Women’s Air Jordan “Coconut Milk” is slated to arrive on May 24th via Nike.com and retailers like Foot Locker. Check out official images of the shoe below.
