Coming off its Spring 2022 collection with Playboy, Alpha Industries is taking flight with a collaboration with Top Gun, celebrating the 1986 film and the release of its anticipated sequel, Top Gun: Maverick.
The fitting collaboration offers a range of apparel including AI’s signature MA-1 Bomber in sage and black. The bomber features Top Gun branding on the left chest and across the back, as well as flight tags in classic red and a second tag in blue that reads “I feel the need… The need for speed!”
The collection also includes a CWU 45/P Bomber Jacket in sage and black that resembles the jacket Tom Cruise wore in the original film. The jacket displays a range of patches inspired by the movie while the left chest features a removable co-branded patch. The CWU also features the custom blue flight tag along with the original red tag.
Finishing off the collection is a set of three tees in a range of colors including black, grey, and olive. The tees reference Lieutenant Tom “Iceman” Kazansky, Pete “Maverick” Mitchell, and the real-life United States Navy Strike Fighter Tactics Instructor program, more popularly known as TOPGUN.
