London-based label Aries and New Balance build on their successful partnership to bring a third collaboration, this time centered around the New Balance Fresh Foam 1080v11. Reimagined through the eyes of Aries, the running silhouette get a punchy makeover with a running apparel collection to match. This “Unbalanced 3.0” collection is accompanied by a short film by David Sims.
Following its 2019 New Balance 991 and 2020 New Balance 327 collabs, Aries steps away from the lifestyle models to take on New Balance’s performance running shoe. Outfitting the Fresh Foam 1080v11 with a vibrant red and black color scheme, the upper is constructed with stretchy knit material providing long-lasting comfort for long-distance running. The silhouette also features “NB-AA” logo along the medial side and mismatched heel counters with neon accents on the laces and outsoles.
The color palette of red and black is extended onto the apparel side of the collection. Included is a women’s running set comprised of a long-sleeve hooded running shrug with matching running tights. The hooded fleece sweatshirt, sweatpants, and tee features a tye-dye design. A men’s speed vest, unisex sherpa half-zip fleece, and socks round out the collection.
The Aries x New Balance “Unbalanced 3.0” collection releases on March 30th via the Aries website, followed by a global release via New Balance and select retailers on March 31st.
