Following the whole Sweden fiasco, it looks like A$AP Rocky is putting his tumultuous summer behind him and refocusing on the music. The Harlem rapper has dropped a video trailer titled ‘Babushka Boi’. The 57-second clip starts out with the question “Why does this black boy wear a babushka?”, a reference to the headscarves typically worn by Russian grandmothers.
The trendsetter has been seen rocking these headscarves lately and has said earlier that this new look came about by trying to hide a scar on his face from a Razor scooter accident. After getting plastic surgery to remove the scar, Rocky continued to rock the headscarf, and even debuted a song called “Babushka” at a stop on the Injured Generation Tour.
