Japanese sneaker retailers BEAMS and MITA are linking up with Asics for a Gel Lyte III that takes cues from the Japanese souvenir jacket. For this take, Asics, Beams and Mita create a solid quilted Asics Gel Lyte III featuring suede panels and camo detailing on the outsole. The Asics Gel Lyte III is then given special branded heels displaying a tiger, Japanese lettering and an embroidered Asics on the back tab.

Update: The Beams x Mita x Asics Gel-Lyte III “Souvenir Jacket” colorway will release stateside at retailers like Premier for $140 on July 9th.
