The ASICS GEL-LYTE III has been getting some fire colorways recently, with releases such as the “Okayama Denim” and “Olive Canvas” packs. If you’re a fan of the model, you might want to check out the new “Momijigari” pack.
Celebrating the transition from summer to fall, Momijigari is the Japanese tradition of visiting areas where maple leaves have turned red for the season. The “Momijigari” pack includes a “Natsu” colorway dressed in green, representing the leaves of summer, and an “Aki” colorway, dressed in red to represent the Japanese maple leaves of autumn. Both feature a suede construction with hits of leather used for the side stripes and heel panel. As an added touch, the Japanese character for their respective season is found on the lateral side of the split tongues, as well as on the hangtag that explains the concept of Momijigari.
