ASICS Drops New “Okayama Denim” GEL-LYTE III Colorways

After launching the atmos-exclusive “White Denim” colorway, ASICS is back with additional versions of the GEL-LYTE III made with Okayama denim.

A tribute to the brand’s Japanese roots and the country’s artisanal workmanship, ASICS is offering its classic GEL-LYTE III model in “Azure” and “Metropolis” Japanese Selvedge denim produced in the famed denim manufacturing prefecture of Okayama. The frayed denim panels are paired with smooth leather overlays and complemented with contrasting leather patches. These release preserve the original shape of the silhouette launched over 30 years ago, down to the split-tongue and GEL technology cushioning.
